The Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden in Pasadena presents “Adventures in Onigiri” a hands-on rice ball making workshop for kids and adults by Japanese home-cooking instructor, Sonoko Sakai, at 2:30 pm on Open Day, April 26th.

“Adventures in Onigiri” is a workshop to learn how to make healthy, cute, and delicious onigiri for snacking and lunches. Each student will work with the best farmers market ingredients to create their own onigiri to eat and share.

They will leave with their homemade onigiri, as well as ingredients and tips on how to recreate the experience at home.

The workshop is $20 per person and includes admission to Open Day.
