The 2014 Cherry Blossom Festival Committee and the City of Monterey Park present the 17th Annual Cherry Blossom Festival on April 26 - 27, 2014 at Barnes Park, 350 South McPherrin Ave, Monterey Park, CA 91754.
The Monterey Park’s festival which is held every spring in April coincides with the National Annual Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C. to celebrate 1912 gift to the U.S. capital of 3,000 cherry trees from the City of Tokyo.
Organized completely by community volunteers, the Monterey Park Cherry Blossom Festival aims to showcase the Japanese culture through a number of exhibits, demonstrations and traditional performance all at no cost to the public.

Sogetsu Ikebana will be offering mini-flower arranging classes from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. Material fee for $5.
Raffle: Tickets are only $2 each. The top prize is $1,000.
