All-USA High School Japanese Speech Contest

The Japanese Language Scholarship Foundation, in conjunction with Consulate General of Japan in Los Angeles and the American Association of Teachers of Japanese, will host its “The 13th Annual All USA High School Japanese Speech Contest” on May 28.
This year, we celebrate our 18th Anniversary of the Japanese Language Scholarship Foundation and we would like to invite you and your high school or college students to attend this 13th Annual Speech Contest.
This contest will provide the opportunity to encourage young students to further their understanding of the language of Japan, its people and its culture.
All participating contestants will be top three winners of a sub-national/ regional/state/multi-school Japanese Language speech contest held in the USA between April 1st 2015 and April 14th 2016.
The grand prize winner will win a trip to the overseas students’ Japanese Speech Award (JSA) contest to be held in Kawasaki, Japan this summer.
