The 6th Anniversary of Love to Nippon 2017
Sunday, March 5, 2017 at LAPD HQs
Season’s Greetings & wishing you a wonderful holiday season!
On behalf of the Love to Nippon Project Committee, it is with great pleasure that we invite you to join us at the 6th Anniversary of Love to Nippon 2017 – 3.11 Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Memorial Event, which will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at the Los Angeles Police Department Headquarters – Ronald F. Deaton Civic Auditorium, 100 West First Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
Please save the date on your calendar for this annual community wide gathering.
Thanks to all of you, the 5th Anniversary Memorial event was a well-attended peaceful gathering, headlined by the Honorable Norman Mineta and Mrs. Deni Mineta to honor the memory of those who have perished in the March 11, 2011 catastrophe, recorded as worst natural disaster in Japan’s history.
To celebrate the resilient spirit of those rebuilding their lives, we will come together once again as a community to fill the day with an optimistic energy of hope and joy.
We encourage the members of your organization and families to participate in and to share the lessons and the importance of natural disaster preparation here in Los Angeles and Southern California. We thank you for your continued support.
Please forward any questions by email to Janet LeBlanc janetleblanc23@gmail.com & Masako Unoura unoura@ttta.com or by telephone (310) 484-1800, ext. 0.
With deep gratitude,
Masako Unoura-Tanaka
