To coincide with the opening of the Japan Gallery at the Detroit Institute of Arts, the DIA and the Japanese Business Society of Detroit will sponsor the Japanese Cultural Days on Nov. 4 (Sat) and 5 (Sun), 2017 at venues of the DIA.
The detail about the Nov. 4-5 Japanese Cultural Days event will be unveiled by brochures and information panels during the Hinamatsuri event at the Detroit Institute of Arts on Sunday, March 5, 2017, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
The Japan Cultural Days has been organized under the Japanese Business Society of Detroit to promote a friendship between the U.S. and Japan after local Japanese communities’ involvement in the Grand Bargain campaign to save the City of Detroit and the Detroit Institute of Arts.
The Japan Cultural Days has focused its main activities in culture, arts, and education in the U.S. and Japan. www.dia.org
