2017 / UCLA invites the public to Kyogen programs with Mansaku Nomura, May 5, 8, 9
The Yanai Initiative Japanese Performing Art Program at UCLA, Waseda University in Tokyo present 5 days of Kyogen programs with living national treasure Mansaku Nomura and his Mansaku-no-Kai from May 5-9.
An Evening of Kyogen with Mansaku Nomura & Mansaku-no-kai will be held at Aratani Theatre in Little Tokyo on May 6 at 5 pm, and May 7 at 5 pm.
In UCLA campus, the following programs will be presented:
Nomura Mansaku lecture “Living Kyogen”
A lecture by Living National Treasure Mansaku Nomura, presented by the Yanai Initiative at UCLA and Waseda University.
