May all living beings be happy, secure, and peaceful - the Buddha
Exhibition on Nov. 18 & 19 from 9:00am to 4:00pm
This exhibition was first presented as part of the commemorative events celebrating 50 years of Bukkyo Dendo Kyokai activities. It was brought together to bring hope, and the will to go on, to those affected by the devastating earthquake and tsunami in 2011. The exhibition toured various parts of Japan in 2015. Many of the people who saw the exhibit tell us that the combination of words and pictures is especially moving.
With that success in Japan, we were encouraged to share these photos with the people of the United States, in hopes that many more could see them.
The scenic images are accompanied by the words of Buddha, translated by Prof. Hajime Nakamura, and with comments from Prof. Sengaku Maeda and Prof. Yasuaki Nara. These gentlemen are among the top Buddhist and Indian scholars in Japan today.
For Living in the Present Day. We sincerely thank the many people who viewed this this exhibit and felt the comfort of the words of Buddha, and so be better able to find peace to go on with our daily lives.
