2022 / Ventura County Japanese American Citizens League will present a zoom talk about the years long stamp campaign of commemorative stamp of WWII Nisei veterans, Jan. 30 at 1:00PM, Pacific Time

Ventura County Japanese American Citizens League will hold the 2022 installation of officers event on Sunday, January 30, from 1:00 – 2:30pm via Zoom.

Guest speaker, Wayne Osako, will share his experience as co-chair (along with founder Fusa Takahashi) of the Stamp Our Story Committee (SOSC). At the Go For Broke National Education Center, he worked alongside the late Chiz Ohira, SOSC co-founder, and her husband, the late 442nd RCT veteran Ted Ohira.
Osako began assisting Chiz and co-founder Aiko Ogata King to build nationwide support for the USPS stamp commemorating the Nisei veterans of World War II.
