SAN DIEGO - The Cherry Blossom Festival returns to the Japanese Friendship Garden and Museum (JFGM) in March 2024.

JFGM is excited to welcome spring and celebrate the annual Japanese tradition of Hanami. The garden will host a variety of daily performances and fun activities for the entire family.

There's something for everyone to enjoy. Visitors will be able to stroll the upper and lower garden to relish in the various features of the property (koi ponds, bonsai, colorful florae) and enjoy the beauty of the blossoming Cherry Blossom Trees.

The 2024 festival includes a children’s area with games in the lower garden. The Inamori Pavilion will host the annual beer and sake garden for age 21 and over. In addition, guests can watch daily live performances and shop from over 30 different food and merchant vendors.

The 2024 Cherry Blossom Festival is funded by the Henri and Tomoye Takahashi Charitable Foundation and the Commission for Arts and Culture of the City of San Diego.
