3rd Annual LA Tanabata Festival opens on August 12 at Little Tokyo. The opening ceremony livens up with Japanese music “Ai Wa Katsu” by Kan. On the stage, Bando Mitsuhiro Kai dancers performs the dance with the music sung by Minyo Station. LA Tanabata Festival always coincide with the Nisei Week Japanese Festival.
