2012 Nisei Week parade to feature youth dance from Sapporo, Aug 12
The 2012 Nisei Week Parade will feature 30 dancers of Hiragishi Tenjin team (above photo) from Sapporo, Japan.
Young members will dance to the upbeat tempo of Hokkaido’s unique but traditional Soran Bushi folk songs through the streets of Little Tokyo.
The parade will start at 5 pm on Sunday, Aug. 12, from the corner of Second Street and Central Avenue.
