Japan Foundation provides new class "Making Sushi in Japanese."

The Japan Foundation provides  a new Japanese language course named “Japanese for Fun” on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at its Miracle Mile location.

Japanese for Fun: Making Sushi in Japanese

7:00 – 9:30 pm

18 years old and up

$40 per person

Learn Japanese vocabulary and basic expressions as well as Japanese food culture and table manners, while making sushi through the instruction of a professional chef of Sushi Chef Institute (www.sushischool.net).

No prior Japanese learning experience necessary.

Menu & Ingredients: Nigiri sushi, Inari sushi, California roll, Spicy tuna volcano roll
Nigiri sushi (Salmon or Maguro Tuna)
Inari sushi (Fried tofu, Sesame, two types Tobiko, Kanpyo)
California roll (Avocado, Imitation crab, Cucumber, Sesame, Seaweed, Mayonnaise)
Volcano spicy tuna roll (Cucumber, Avocado, Minced tuna, Spicy sauce, Kaiware)
