New York-based independent filmmaker Mari Kawade’s short film “PARK” will be screened at the 2010 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival on May 1 and 2.

A Japanese banker, who was just sent to New York discovers something important for his life at Central Park.
It’s a peaceful comedy of the cultural differences between the US and Japan. Everyone who is interested in Japanese culture wouldn’t stop laughing.
It will be the first screening of the film on west coast.
