Following the COVID-19 health regulations, 1,000 visitors offered New Year’s prays at Koyasan Buddhist Temple on Friday, Jan. 1. The temple posted health regulation boards, checked body temperatures, and kept names and telephone numbers before visitors were allowed to enter the temple yard. Bishop Matsumoto and Rev. Hirokazu Kosaka conducted the services.
