On Sunday, Oct. 5, “Friends of the Museum” will host the 6th Annual Kokoro Craft Boutique at the Japanese American National Museum from 10 am to 4 pm.
Don’t miss this free showcase and sale of distinctive artisan-quality times. There will be 50+ vendors in the craft show selling unique jewelry, kimono fabric fashions, woven & silk scarves, origami, handbags, cultural t-shirts, pottery, ceramics, bronze & glass art, stationery, and more.
This boutique will also feature crafts from Asian American pop culture juggernaut, Eric Nakamura of Giant Robot.
The Kokoro Craft Boutique will not only showcase and sell a wide variety of gift and collectible items, Yuujou Taiko will perform exciting free admission taiko drumming at 1 pm on the plaza.
Admission to the Kokoro Craft Boutique is free. With a purchase of $10 or more at the boutique, you will, also, receive a coupon good for 10% off at one of several participating Little Tokyo restaurants. The one-time use coupon is valid through the end of October.
In appreciation of the museum's supporters and community friends, admission to JANM that day will be "pay what you wish."
Proceeds will benefit the JANM’s education programs.
