Cultural News Association: Connecting Communities Through Japanese Culture in Southern California and Arizona
Cultural News, a vibrant community media platform, serves Japanese culture enthusiasts across Southern California and Arizona. Originally launched as a monthly tabloid newspaper in July 1998, Cultural News transitioned to a weekly email magazine in June 2020, adapting to the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Today, the Cultural News website stands as a living archive, preserving Japanese cultural events for future generations.
To ensure the continued publication and growth of Cultural News, the Cultural News Association was established as a non-profit organization in 2019. The Association relies on community support, requiring approximately $30,000 annually to sustain its operations. Supporters are encouraged to subscribe to the Weekly Cultural News for just $44 every four months ($11 per month) and to consider making a donation to help keep this vital resource thriving.
