Akali to Lives Concert: Connecting hearts with candles and music

Tickets: $15 for students (with ID) / $20 for general. Tickets are available online and at the gate

Drinks will be available for purchase. (No food or drinks from outside allowed.)

“Akali to Live” concerts were initiated by Tokyo-based recording artist GAKU-MC after the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. “Akali to Live” project are collecting message to the 2011 disaster survivors from around the world.

On November 8, GAKU-MC will come to the Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix to ask audiences to write messages over candle holders to the survivors in Japan.

Message written candle holders will be brought back to Japan by GAKU-MC. Participants may be asked to donate $5 per candle holder. All proceeds will be used for “Akali to Live” project.
