Los Angeles, CA - June 27: Peter Lais dream of a Japanese Village holding one of the many dresses he has designed, comes to life in Little Tokyo in L.A. Peter Lai, a fashion designer, costumer, student of kabuki dance, and long-time Japanophile, has opened a 5,000 sq. ft. space filled with his extensive and colorful collection of Japanese antiques, kimono, ceramics, Chinadolls, rare artifacts, décor and objets dart for display and sale, by appointment-only. His varied collection is arranged in small themed vignettes including a Japanese tea room, a Chinadoll shop, a ceramics space, and includes a dining/party and performance area available for private parties and filming. Dedicated to his love of Japanese artifacts to exhibit his collection of objects and goods, many of which are also for sale.
