The Little Tokyo Historical Society seeks fictional short stories for “Imagine Little Tokyo” contest. Entries for the English language, Japanese language and English -youth (18 and younger) categories are due Jan. 31.
The story has to be fictional and set in a current, past or future Little Tokyo in Los Angeles.
Each category winner will win $500 in cash and have their short story published in The Rafu Shimpo and on the Discover Nikkei Website. A public award ceremony and reading of the winning stories will take place in the spring of 2018.
