Asakusa, a historic neighborhood located in Tokyo, is a popular tourist destination known for its unique blend of traditional and modern cultures.
The area is home to several important cultural landmarks, including the iconic Sensoji Temple and its imposing Kaminarimon Gate.
In this year, event's theme, "More of Asakusa!" promises to bring an authentic slice of Asakusa culture to guests.
In partnership with Tokyo Rickshaw, traditional rickshaws will traverse the fairgrounds, providing attendees with a unique glimpse into this iconic aspect of Asakusa culture. Additionally, three talented performers from Asakusa’s renowned popular theater Oshale Japan will travel to the U.S. to showcase their incredible skills at the NAKAMISE Street Stage.
The festivities will commence with an opening ceremony on the evening of October 18, featuring a special ribbon-cutting event to officially launch the fair.
