Okinawan dance group Tamagusuku Ryu Kansen Atae no Kai (formerly Kansenkai) presents its 40th Anniversary performance, Kansen nu Michi Tirashi (Lighting the Path for Future Generations) on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the James Armstrong Theatre in Torrance.
This milestone event will celebrate the legacy of Keiko Yonamine Sensei and honor the instructors who have guided the dance group in preserving and perpetuating Ryukyu Buyo.
The program will bring together performers and musicians from Hawaii, Okinawa, California, and Texas for an unforgettable evening of artistry and cultural appreciation.
