Volunteers and sponsors are welcome.
Tulip in Harmony was founded by six Japanese female classical musicians in the aftermath of the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, initially holding charity concerts under the name "Send Love to Japan."
In 2022, marking its 11th anniversary, the event name was changed to "Send Your Love." While the organization's efforts began with supporting the recovery from the Japan earthquake for a decade, its focus has broadened in recent years to address current global needs, including supporting Ukraine in 2022, Chile earthquake relief in 2023, and the Noto Peninsula earthquake in Ishikawa Prefecture in 2024 through four separate concerts.
Last year alone, they were able to donate nearly $9,000. Since its inception in 2011, the cumulative donations have exceeded approximately $26,000, with an average audience of around 200 people per venue, and countless volunteers, participating musicians, dancers, and other performers.
This time, proceeds of the concert will be delivered to WeLoveLA, a local wildfire relief in our community.
