LOS ANAGELES — On Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Little Tokyo community will come together to celebrate the 12th Nancy Kikuchi Volunteer Day, also known as Little Tokyo Sparkle, with a neighborhood-wide community clean‑up effort.
The annual event brings together volunteers from across the community to help make Little Tokyo sparkle and shine. Activities will include trash pick‑up, graffiti removal, sidewalk clean‑up, and other beautification efforts throughout the neighborhood. Lunch will be provided for volunteers following the clean‑up.
The event is known for its lively, welcoming atmosphere, with free food and raffles offered after the volunteer activities conclude.
Individuals and groups are encouraged to participate. Those registering on behalf of a group are asked to sign up each participant individually, or alternatively email a list of participants to littletokyosparkle@gmail.com.
Registration is open now and will close Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
