The channel debuts on March 25 in the United States and Canada on the FAST platform Amasian TV: https://amasian.tv/live/channel-oishii.
Channel Oishii curates popular food‑themed programs produced by commercial broadcasters across Japan, offering viewers a 24/7 linear viewing experience along with on‑demand access.
FAST (Free Ad‑supported Streaming TV) is a rapidly growing streaming format that allows audiences to watch themed channels in real time on internet‑connected devices, including smart TVs, smartphones, and PCs.
Channel Oishii is being distributed via Amasian TV, a FAST platform specializing in Asian content and available across multiple devices.
The channel’s programming highlights the cultural meaning of oishii—a word that expresses not only great taste, but also the joy of sharing meals, regional traditions, and everyday life in Japan. Through dramas and informational programs, Channel Oishii introduces Japanese cuisine as a gateway to local culture, producers’ stories, and community life.

Content from a total of 11 companies is included at launch, with further expansion planned through partnerships with regional broadcasters.
