Little Tokyo | Centenary United Methodist Church Invites Public to the Arigato Bazaar: Food, Music & Family Fun Saturday, May 2, 10AM – 4PM

Follow the beat of the Taiko drums and the delicious aromas to the annual “Arigato Bazaar” at Centenary United Methodist Church in Little Tokyo on Saturday May 2nd, from 10:00AM – 4:00PM.

All are invited to this community event which brings families and friends together from across Southern California for a day of fun, delicious food and exciting entertainment. Grab a seat outside to enjoy the Centenary Chikara Daiko drummers and special guests, Japanese Minyo dancers, hula dancers, and more. Among the delicious foods to be available are Centenary’s famous Teriyaki Half Chicken Dinner, Beef Bento, handmade Sushi and Manju, Asian Chicken Salad, Spam Musubi and more!

Spend time hunting for a special “treasure” in our Country Store and Handmade Crafts booths or place a bid on the Silent Auction item that’s caught your eye.

There will be opportunities to win prizes throughout the day. Tickets are $5.00 each which can be redeemed at various food and shopping booths (some exclusions apply). Each ticket is also an entry into the opportunity drawing for raffle prizes and three grand prize drawings of $500, $250 and $100 cash.

This year Centenary UMC celebrates its 130th anniversary as the oldest and longest running Japanese Christian church in the City of Los Angeles. Join us on May 2nd for a day of family fun, great food, lively entertainment and memorable fellowship.

The church is located at 300 S. Central Avenue, corner of 3rd Street and Central Avenue.

Free validated parking will be available at the “Ten Terraces” Building, 420 E. 3rd Street (enter structure on Boyd Street) until 6:00PM. Shuttle service to and from the bazaar will be provided by the church.
