The Gardena Valley Japanese Cultural Institute (GVJCI) presents 2nd Annual GVJCI Car Show Fundraiser on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Early Bird Admission: $10.00 (offer ends August 1st, 2026)
General Admission $15.00 Children under 12 free.
Ticket includes: Special Screening Mooneye’s USA Documentary “Craft of Speed”.
Gardena has a thriving car culture with people having not only the well-known American muscle cars, but also modified foreign makes such as the Datsun 510s, 240zs, Subaru, Honda and Toyota Celicas. With a mix of today’s versions of these cars and others, we would like to bring back fond memories of yesteryear and show how this car culture continues today.
In addition to the cars, we also have games for the kids, an indoor vendor area and Okamoto Kitchen food truck.
