IKEBANA 2026 | Ikebana Exhibition for Celebrating 60th Anniversary of Descanso Garden | Group Yokou of Sogetsu Ikebana | September 14-20
From September 14 through September 20, Group Yokou, led by Kaz Kitajima, a Riji (Director) of the Sogetsu Ikebana, will present a special ikebana exhibition at Descanso Gardens.
This year’s exhibition will celebrate the 60th anniversary of Descanso Gardens, with ikebana arrangements created especially for this milestone occasion.
In addition to the exhibition, several special programs will be offered:
September 18: Ikebana demonstration by Kaz Kitajima, accompanied by a live koto performance
September 19 & 20: Free ikebana workshops open to the public
