As summer reaches its peak in Southern California, gardens are full bloom with beautiful hydrangeas and hibiscus. The Nanka Nihon Minyo Kyokai marks 63rd Anniversary this year, and presents 28th Annual Autumn Japanese Folk Song and Dance Show at Nakaoka Community Center, 1670 W. 162nd Street, Gardena, CA 90247 on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at 11:00 p.m.
No tickets will be sold the day of the event.
Participating groups include Matsumae Kai, Matsutoyo Kai, L.A. Chikurei Kai, Nippon Minyo Kenkyukai Hoshun Kai, and Nippon Minyo Kenkyukai Kotobuki No Kai.
