The members of California Aiseki Kai will present their 23rd annual exhibition of viewing stones at the Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens in Friends Hall. Admission free.
The show will open this year on Dec. 27, 2012 through Dec. 31 and on Jan. 2, 2013. The hours are from 10:30 am until 4:30 pm. The Huntington and the exhibition will be closed on New Year’s Day.
There will be more than 150 stones on display including suiseki and biseki – colorful stones. The majority of these stones are from California rivers, deserts or ocean shores and have been collected by club members.
A special display will feature international stones from Japan, Africa, China and Italy. Docents will be available to guide individuals or groups through the exhibition.
