In this fearless, funny and personal solo show, a young Japanese woman suddenly loses her hair, and in an effort to treat the hair loss, loses her skin.
Through her survival she discovers her father’s love, but in order to move forward, she must first go back, to confront the voices that have plagued her since she was 4 years old.
Movement artist and writer Yokko brings to life nearly a dozen characters, merging movement and memories into a phantasmagoria exploring kinship, cultural expectations and personal identity, weaving the fantastic with the ordinary in her ongoing search for a singular voice.
