Tokyo-based film production Takion Japan Co., Ltd is looking for atomic bomb survivors from Hiroshima or Nagasaki for the new documentary film.
The purposes of the new film A-Bombs Survivors in America are raising awareness on nuclear abolition and preventing the same tragedies today and in the future.
The film is directed by Hidetaka Inazuka of Takion Japan, and produced by Hidetaka Inazuka and Yuma Asakura of Japan America Media Association.
The date for the interview and filming is set Aug 30 – Sept 6 in Los Angeles and San Diego areas.
Takion Japan Co., Ltd. produced Twice Survived: The Doubly Atomic Bombed of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 2006 and 2011, and the A-bomb survivors related documentary drama on NHK in 2010.
