“Japanese Painting: Celebrating LACMA’s 50th Anniversary “ at the Pavilion for Japanese Art, East Wing, features the jewel of Japanese art collection at Los Angeles County Museum of Art such as Maruyama Okyo’s “Cranes” (1772) and “Night Festival of Tsushima Shrine” (early Edo period). This exhibition will close on Sunday, Nov. 29.

The new exhibition at the Pavilion for Japanese Art, East Wing, will open on Saturday, Dec. 12. “Japanese Painting: Figures from Life, Figures from Allegory” will run until May 29, 2016
