2016 / The 2016 New Year’s Daiku (Beethoven’s 9th Symphony) Concert set for Jan. 10 at Aratani Theatre

Beethoven’s  9th Symphony Concert is dubbed “Daiku” by music enthusiasts in Japan. L.A. Daiku was formed in 2009 and annual New Year’s Daiku concert has been held since 2012.

The 2016 New Year’s Daiku Concert will be held on Sunday, January 10 at 4:00 pm at Aratani Theatre in Little Tokyo. The program will include Beethoven 9th symphony and Fukushima Requiem. Joining from Japan, 100 singers will perform with a full orchestra.
