Japanese Cultural Club of Arizona and Ancient Sounds of Peace present “Hiroshima Calling” event on Saturday, March 4, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Temp History Museum, 809 East Southern Ave, Tempe, AZ 85282.

Free admission.

“Hiroshima Calling” hosts screening of “Paper Lanterns” a documentary about 12 American POWs, and “Prayer for Peace” concert performed by Ken Koshio and Hiroshima Taiko Hozonkai International.

4:45 pm: Introduction by Dan Miller

5:00 pm: Taiko Performance by Hiroshima Taiko Hozonkai (Hiroshima Historical Taiko Preservation Society)  International led by Ken Koshio

6:00 pm: Film Screening “Paper Lanterns

7:30 pm: Discussion with the filmmaker (possibility of Zoom live videoconference)
