Shoseian “Whispering Pine” Tea House in Brand Library Park, Glendale, will host Memorial Tea for Tyrus Wong on Sunday, May 21, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. This is a fundraising event by the Friends of Shoseian. Suggested entrance donation $20 per person will be paid at the door.
Tyrus Wong (Oct. 25, 1910 – Dec. 30, 2016) created the look and style of Disney’s 1942 film Bambi. He recently passed away at the age of 106!
