The Torrance Rose Float Association invites the public to celebrate the City of Torrance’s 65th Float in the Pasadena Tournament of Rose Parade 2020 on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Pine Wind Garden at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center, 3330 Civic Center Drive, Torrance, CA 90503. The 2020 Torrance float features a Japanese garden.
1:00 – 3:00 pm: Koto performance by Yuki Yasuda
1:30 – 2:30 pm: Tea Ceremony Demonstration
2020 Torrance Float “Our Garden of Hope and Dreams” features the Pine Wind Garden designed by late landscape architect Takeo Uesugi. The celebration event will be attended by the family of Takeo Uesugi.
This event is free and open to the public.
The Torrance Sister City Association supports the event.
