2023/12/31: Free Japanese language TV program on New Year’s Eve: “MUSIC STATION SUPER LIVE 2023” at 1PM and “CHEF-1 GRAND PRIX 2023” at 5:15PM
On New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, Japan Hollywood Network https://www.jhollywoodnet.com which provides over-the-air television across the Los Angeles and Orange County area on channel 44.1 (KXLA) will air “Music Station Super Live 2023” at 1pm for free.
Also, “CHEF-1 Grand Prix 2023, Part 1” (English subtitled) at 5:15pm on Dec. 31 and “Part 2” on January 7, at 6:30pm at for free. The program will re-run on January 8.
‘Music Station SUPER LIVE 2023’ is the year-end special program of the TV Asahi music show ‘Music Station.’ Featuring over 60 lavish artists (based on the 2022 performance), the program will deliver an ample serving of hit songs that colored the music scene of 2023 over a span of four and a half hours. Hosted by Tamori and TV Asahi announcer Shinsai Suzuki.
‘CHEF-1 Grand Prix 2023’ is the ultimate showdown of passionate young chefs striving for the title of No.1 among the next-generation star chefs.
This year, challenging the familiar dishes of ‘Tonkatsu,’ ‘Instant Ramen,’ and ‘Tonkatsu’ with a revolutionary twist, eight chefs who emerged victorious in the preliminary rounds across eight cooking genres will vie for the top spot in four categories: ‘French,’ ‘Italian,’ ‘Food Creator,’ and ‘Genreless.’ Who will seize the opportunity in this exhilarating competition?
