2024/5/04: Harajuku Day in Hollywood

For the opening weekend of JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles’ highly anticipated exhibition, “Yes, KAWAII is Art -EXPRESS YOURSELF-,” the presenter is bringing the best of Harajuku to Hollywood with Harajuku Day in Hollywood.

On Saturday, May 4, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, the courtyard of Ovation Hollywood will transform into a pop-up festival and marketplace featuring local vendors of kawaii-inspired apparel, accessories, and distinctive creations, alongside DIY craft stations, fashion shows, live music, and more.

As a special guest, exhibition originator and artist Sebastian Masuda will be on hand to showcase his iconically kawaii brand 6%DOKIDOKI, as well as perform a DJ set.

As the pop-up is mere steps away from the exhibition, make it a full kawaii day by visiting both, and get inspired to weave the colorful, inclusive spirit of kawaii into your own life and personal style.
