Grand Master Riley Koho Lee and Master Elliot Kanshin Kallen will present an evening of music featuring the traditional Japanese bamboo flute, the shakuhachi on Saturday, May 18.

Hosted by Sonoma County Matsuri Festival, this concert is a prelude to the Matsuri! Japanese Arts Festival on Sunday, May 19.

This is truly a unique opportunity to experience the many faces of this remarkable instrument, from deeply meditative pieces dating back hundreds of years, to fresh new areas for the shakuhachi to explore including, for this edition of our concert, a world premiere!
