IKIGAI ZEN JOURNEY is a transformative inner journey that combines breathwork, voice meditation, and active meditation. It is guided and empowered by hypnotical live-looping music by YOGETSU AKASAKA.
In the age of AI, the true evolution begins within.
Breathwork, voice meditation, movement, and music—
the most primal expressions of our being—
guide us into a space beyond thought, beyond noise,
to remember what it means to be alive.
These elemental practices spark a deep reconnection
to presence, truth, and purpose.
And through LiveLooping, each moment becomes unrepeatable—
a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with your most authentic self.
Rev. Yogetsu Akasaka / Meditaion Music Artist/ Zen Buddhist Priest
“Yogetsu Akasaka’s Heart Sutra Beatbox Remix Hits 7 Million Views in YouTube”
Yogetsu Akasaka, born in Tokyo, is a beatboxer, handpan player, live-looping artist, and Zen Buddhist priest whose work bridges ancient traditions and modern soundscapes.
Combining ethereal handpan melodies, rhythmic beatboxing, and Buddhist mantras, Yogetsu creates transformative, improvised live-looping music that embodies the Zen philosophy of treasuring each moment as a once-in-a-lifetime experience. His performances guide audiences on a journey of self-discovery and inner peace.
During the pandemic, Yogetsu gained international recognition when his Heart Sutra Beatbox Remix went viral on YouTube, reaching millions of viewers worldwide. This success propelled his global career, leading to performances at internationally renowned festivals such as Wonderfruit (Thailand), Shambala (UK), Colors of Ostrava (Czech Republic), and SXSW (USA), where, in 2023 and 2024, he performed as an official artist, including a special appearance at NASA’s keynote speech, guiding the audience on an inner space journey that left a lasting impression.
Yogetsu has also shared his unique fusion of music and mindfulness at global wellness conferences, offering live sessions and workshops like Voice Meditation and Active Meditation. Each workshop integrates breathwork with transformative, improvised music, created spontaneously in the present moment. This invites participants to tune into the here and now, reconnecting with themselves, and experiencing the profound therapeutic power of the human voice and movement, inspired by the Zen practice of mindful presence.
