Join the workshop for a special hands-on cultural workshop exploring the traditional Japanese art of kokedama (moss ball making) at the Los Angeles Koyasan Buddhist Temple .
Led by Mr. Takeshi Nakamura of Angeluck, a highly respected floral artist and educator, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to experience Japanese garden aesthetics through direct creation.
Moss has long been an essential element of traditional Japanese gardens, valued for its quiet beauty and sense of tranquility. Participants will learn basic kokedama techniques while creating their own living moss arrangement to take home.
Mr. Nakamura has taught workshops at the University of Southern California (USC) and the Japan House Los Angeles and is known for his approachable teaching style, making this program suitable for both beginners and experienced plant enthusiasts.
