Zenshuji 68th Annual Obon Carnival – Two-Day Event
Zenshuji Soto Mission, located in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles, is pleased to announce its 68th Annual Obon Carnival, taking place on Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM each day.
This festive, family-friendly event will feature traditional Japanese cultural entertainment, food, and exhibits, including:
– Tea Ceremony Demonstrations
– Bon-odori
– Zendeko Taiko Drumming
– Folk Dances & Music
– Shorinji Kempo Demonstrations
– Raffles & Prizes
– White Elephant
– Craft Sales
– Ikebana (Japanese Flower Arrangement) Exhibits
– Delicious Food (BBQ Chicken & Beef, Takoyaki, Chirashi-sushi, Okinawa Dango, Wonton, Somen, Tamale, Ohagi, Corn, Shaved Ice, Home-Baked Goods, Beer & more)
OBON Services will be held at 1:30 PM on both days.
