WWII Camp Wall, Orange Coast Optimist (OCO) Club and Tanaka Farms present the 5th Annual OCO Natsu Matsuri (Summer Festival) fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026, from 4 to 9 p.m. at Tanaka Farms, 5380 ¾ University Drive in Irvine, California.
This family-friendly event will feature food, games, arts, crafts, entertainment, ondo, a beer garden, and unique to this matsuri the Furoto (float) parade, patterned after Japanese mikoshi.
This year’s entertainment includes a knock out lineup with former Nisei Week court members in a karate breaking demonstration by Mataubayashi Shorin-ryu dojo, Marisa Kosugi, odori by Classical Japanese Dance, Asian Persuasion, Rayko of Lolita Dark, Asian Persuasion, taiko, a live calligraphy demonstration, karaoke, ondo led by Wesley Nishinaka, plus more!
Shop in the boutique and find unique items, including stationery, custom embroidered items, jewelry, and gifts for young and old.
How many people can you fit in a car? Pay for parking at $25 and admission is FREE.
