YOSHIKI Donates €100,000 for France and Spain Wildfire Relief and ¥10,000,000 for Kumamoto Earthquake Relief in Japan
YOSHIKI has donated €100,000 to support communities affected by the devastating wildfires in France and Spain and ¥10 million to support relief efforts following the powerful earthquake that struck Kumamoto Prefecture in Japan on July 29, 2026.
“Even though I have lived in Los Angeles for many years, Japan will always be my home, and Europe—especially France—has also become another home to me,” YOSHIKI said. “Seeing people in France, Spain, and Japan facing such devastating disasters is heartbreaking. My heart goes out to everyone affected by the wildfires in France and Spain, including those who have lost their homes and the courageous people working on the front lines.
“My thoughts are also with everyone affected by the earthquake in Kumamoto and those waiting for news of loved ones. With aftershocks continuing, please put your safety first. Disasters do not recognize borders, and compassion should not either. I hope these donations provide immediate support, encourage others to help, and remind those affected that they are not alone.”
