2012 Nibei Foundation invites Japanese comedian Rome Kanda for Japan Study Club, Sept 11

JSC Kanda Rome Book Samurai SpiritThe Nibei Foundation invites Osaka-born comedian and actor Rome Kanda as the speaker of the Japan Study Club on Tuesday, Sept 11.

The lecture will be held at Terasaki Foundation Laboratory Building, 11570 West Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90064.

Reception and dinner start at 6:30 pm.

Kanda will speak at 7:30 pm.

$10 admission per person including dinner.

Rome Kanda is most known for his hosting role on the “Majide” game on I Survived a Japanese Game Show on ABC networks. I Survived a Japanese Game Show was on air two seasons in 2008 and 2009 with 15 episodes.

His debut film was filmed in both in Japan and the U.S. in 1987.  He moved to the U.S. in 1999.

Recently Kanda published “Samurai Spirit – My Dream, Devotion and Determination by Rome Kanda.”
