“A Chorus of Angels” (Kita no Kanariyatachi)

“A Chorus of Angels” is directed by Junji Sakamoto and based on a short story by Confessions author Kanae Minato. Film was released by Toei in Japan on Nov. 3, 2012.
Sayuri Yoshinaga stars as a librarian on the outskirts of Tokyo who reminisces about her days as an elementary school teacher when she finds an old photo album.
20 years earlier, she taught students on two remote islands off the coast of Hokkaido.
Famous stars starting: Mirai Moriyama, Eiko Koike, Hikari Mitsushima, Ryo Katsuji, Ryuhei Matsuda, and Aoi Miyazaki .
The screening will be held on Saturday, March 23 at 2 pm at Aratani Theatre, 244 South San Pedro Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
Tickets are $12 at www.jaccc.org. Handling service fee applicable.
The screening will be presented by The Aurora Foundation as its 15th Anniversary Commemorative Film Screening.
