The Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden
270 Arlington Drive, Pasadena CA 91105
The Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden is a beautiful, tranquil place during the winter and where else but Southern California does winter mean clear, warm days.
That is the forecast for this Sunday, January 25th and, to top off the fine weather, will be award-winning Australian harpist Carolyn Sykes adding her graceful music to the sounds of the garden.
With an MFA in Harp Performance, Carolyn has been playing in Los Angeles and around the world for over 30 years. Her extensive repertoire includes classical, pop, jazz and latin music.
She shares her talent by teaching dozens of students in her Pasadena studio and she is also a purveyor of fine harps at her showroom, Pacific Harps.
Hear Carolyn's music from 11:00 to 2:00 on Sunday January 25th, free with the price of admission to Open Day.
Reservations are not necessary but you may make them on our website for $7.50 per person.
If you prefer to pay when you arrive, it is $10.00 cash or check. Children 12 and under are free. There is parking on the street and the garden is wheelchair accessible. Sorry, no pets allowed.
