Art of Calligraphy by Ms. Shoran Ohba
Ms. Shoran Ohba studied under supervision of calligraphy master, Chise Ohishi at the Japan Calligraphy Academy (Nippon Shodo Geijutuin) in Tokyo, Japan.
Ms. Ohba is currently visiting California with Cultural Exchange Artist Visa issued by the U.S. State Department.
Ms. Ohba was born in Shizuoka in a family which her grandfather was a renowned calligrapher. After graduating from State University of New York at Plattsburg with BA degree, she worked for three years as a flight attendant of All Nippon Airways in Japan.
Currently Ms. Ohba runs her own calligraphy school in Shizuoka, Japan.

Presentation from 7 pm – 8 pm
