The California Aiseki Kai presents its 28th annual “Viewing Stones Show” from Dec. 26 – 30 at the Brody Botanical Center of the Huntington Library in San Marino.
General admission to the Huntington is required.
The show featuring outstanding examples of suiseki and other viewing stones will be opened from Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm.
Practiced in Asia for centuries and gaining popularity around the world, the art of viewing stones invites contemplation of the subtle, often fanciful forms that have been shaped by nature, the elements, and time.
A related display presented by the American Viewing Stone Resource Center will be on view during the same dates in the Japanese Garden’s Ikebana House.
