Cultural News Editor Shige Higashi visited Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture from Aug. 3-9. Higashi will talk his report at the Japanese Community Pioneer Center on Thursday, Aug. 30, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
The Pioneer Center is located at the third floor of the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center, 244 South San Pedro Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
In the meeting on Aug. 30, a volunteer who is working at Koyaura area of Saka Town near Hiroshima City will report in live via Spye call.
